2020 - 2021 School Year

FMDNS normally serves children 6 weeks through 5 years of age during the school year. Due to extenuating circumstances and our desire to continue to serve our community and their needs, we have increased our age groups for the 2020 - 2021 school year.

Beginning Monday, August 24th, FMDNS will also accept enrollment for elementary aged children who are enrolled online through their public schools in K through 5th grade.

FMDNS will enroll students beginning at 6 weeks of age up through 5th grade until further notice.

Elementary School Care - Gonzalez Campus

For Elementary aged children enrolled in public school, who are attending an online version of school, FMDNS will provide supervision and supplemental services for K - 5th grade students during any time the student is unable to attend in person learning through their school district.

Parents will be able to utilize FMDNS services at anytime their child will not be able to attend in person school through their District. While there are still many areas of unknown for our public school learners, FMDNS strives to be a consistent resource for our families who need care and supervision when it is otherwise not offered through public school.

FMDNS will offer Elementary Support Services during normally scheduled school hours, beginning at 7:50 am and ending at 3:20 pm Monday through Friday during the 2020 - 2021 School Year.

Students may be dropped off as early as 7:30 am, and must be picked up by 3:30 pm.

We ask that parents provide FMDNS a copy of the schedule students will receive from their school including the DISD teacher's contact information and student login usernames and passwords.

Families are responsible for providing a device for online learning at FMDNS. If your family needs assistance with a device, please contact your child's denton ISD campus, and they will make arrangements to assist those who do not have an individual device for each student. DISD recommends that each student has their own device for online learning and does not recommend sharing one device between multiple learners of the same household.

FMDNS does not provide transportation between to, or from elementary schools. Elementary School Care is intended for children enrolled in person through Denton ISD who are temporarily unable to attend in person due to DISD requiring online learning.
